Dresden Night One

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

As I have written yesterday, I was driving to Dresden in Germany via Bus. It was a six-hour drive and we (my best friend and I) arrived in Dresden at about 3 am.

Luckily the hotel has a 24-hour reception (I checked that before) and we could get to our room quickly.

Somehow the room seems way smaller than the last time I was here. We got an average-sized bed for two people, but for two overweight people, it is a little bit cramped.

Another fun, well, to tell the truth, not so fun fact: We only got one blanket. Luckily I have got long and warm pyjamas with me, so I can leave the blanket to Christoph.

The pillows are also really crappy. If you would put down a towel, it would make a better one. Also, the mattress is like a solid plank.

Also, Christoph is snorting like an old walrus again.

But enough from the complaining. At least the breakfast was great.

I am really looking forward to the meeting later in the day. It will be interesting to hear about the stuff people were up to the last year.

Also, I looked it up, I was here in October 2018, so more than a year ago.
