DARK

Yesterday I finished watching "Dark" on Netflix. It is one of the first German productions of Netflix where everything was filmed and produced in Germany. Just like "Freud" was produced in Austria.

The third and last season aired a few weeks ago, but I didn't have time to watch it yet. Well, until yesterday.

I was completely confused by the first few Episodes. The time is constantly changing and the viewer always jumps back and forth. But I was expecting that since they were doing such stuff since the first season.

Time travelling series can always be a little bit confusing especially when everything takes place in the same village.

But in the last four episodes, everything starts to open up. Every brainfuck, every knot I had throughout the three seasons gets loosened and resolved. I wasn't expecting that.

The ending is also really great, it pressed the right buttons and by the end, I was literally crying. I was really bound to this set of characters somehow. Maybe because I had a little crush on Martha (played by Lisa Vicari)?

Anyway. If you're into sci-fi stuff and a little more "darker" themed series I can definitely recommend it. If your significant other doesn't want to watch it, tell them there is also a romance inside. Well, multiple. :)
