This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

After another night at my grandparents home, it was time to drive back to my apartment again. I know one and a half-hour drives aren't really long, but the weather over the "Wechsel" (foothills of the alps) was really bad.

After I joined the Autobahn (at least 2 lanes per direction, 130 km/h speed limit) I immediately stopped at the next car park, as my phone wasn't working properly and always connecting and disconnecting to my vehicles systems.

Not only did it make an annoying sound, but also the podcasts I queued didn't play. A few minutes later the problem was resolve and I was back on the road again.

About 15 to 20 minutes later the rain started. It continued all the way through the exit at my apartments city. Most of the time I really enjoy the rain, but driving in heavy rain is way more exhausting than driving is anyways.

So now I am sitting here in my office again, waiting for the washing machine to finish. Looking back over the last few days and reflecting the interesting talks with my grandparents.
