Changing Credit Cards

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

Today is the second day where I decided to write right away in the morning. Almost directly after waking up.

As expected, I just woke up. I put of a cup of coffee beside me and started doing some Budgeting at You Need a Budget (YNAB). I had to do some work on my Bank account and on my Credit card.

I was at my local bank office yesterday as I am experiencing problems with my current Visa card that is issued by Card complete here in Austria. They told me I am not the only one in Austria as card complete is currently changing some of the software.

As with every other business, they tried to sell something on me. Obviously a new credit card. So I signed up to change my Visa from Card complete to a Visa issued by Raiffeisenbank themselves.

The services on both Cards are mostly the same, thou the Raiffeisen issued one has better travel protection than the Card complete one. Also the first year I don't have to pay fees.

Sometimes it is important to change up banking stuff. As we also changed my normal banking account, I'm saving a few more euros per month. Since every euro is important when you're on a tight budget, saving is always great.
