BBQ Season

This post was originally published on golifelog.com.

I went to the store today to get some zucchini, paprika and two steaks. I decided yesterday that it was time to bring out my small charcoal grill onto the balcony to start the barbecue season.

But I found myself in a small inconvenience: if I bring down the awning, I would lose power on one of the photovoltaic panels, but could cook without getting cooked myself. So I waited a little bit, but proceeded to bring down the awning and set up the grill.

I had a nice lunch, put the awning back up and stored the grill. Afterwards, I laid down beneath the panels and had a quick power nap. Now I’m back inside and will be working a little bit, while my portable AC unit is running along to keep the Apartment cool.

A day spent nice, I would argue.
