A typical Monday

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

Even though the day isn't over, I feel like it is a Monday you could call a "typical one". It doesn't have anything to do with other Mondays, but it feels special.

I started my day right with not getting enough sleep because I couldn't sleep until 2:30 or 3 am. I can't remember. It bothers me because I don't know why that happens from time to time, but I think the alcoholic drinks on Friday and yesterday did their thing. Definitely not the better thing.

So I woke up at half-past six, after hitting snooze several times. As I was driving to work the next thing happened. Right from the roundabout near my Apartment, the whole traffic was standing still, because of the construction work on the main road through Hartberg (the City I live in).

I took one of the detours I know to overcome the jam, just to loose about another fifteen to twenty minutes.

I arrived at work at seven, with a strange feeling in my stomach. I remembered I ate grapes and plums yesterday, both of them I know I don't tolerate, but I like to eat them.

Right before lunchtime, I decided to give up and drive home, as we only have a limited amount of toilets in our company building and several men who use them. And before I need a toilet quickly without finding a free one, I thought it might be better to occupy the one in my Apartment, where I know nobody would take it

So it is home office day today.
