A new Chair

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

In February we got a mail from management that we could order chairs through the company. They were ordering a large quantity because a room would be turned from a conference room to office space.

We have some expensive chairs, but as I didn't have anything good in the new apartment, I opted in and ordered one.

They arrived yesterday and I transported it home today. I already enjoy sitting on it and writing here.

As I said, they aren't cheap, but they offer some great benefits. Obviously there is the height adjustment. You can switch another thing and you can lean really far back. There is also a way to lock the leaning, so you can find a relaxed position.

Another button does something with the part you are sitting on, so you can adjust the seating place to the backrest. On the sides are armrests and the backrest is formed ergonomically.

I am not sure out of what the seat base and backrest are made, but I know from having such a seat at work, I don't sweat on it. (I mean the sitting sweat you get on some chairs.)

Now there is no excuse to sit crumped at my home office anymore. Just with sleep, you can do many things wrong while sitting. Investing in a good chair isn't one of those bad things.
