Another day is over, and I'm looking forward to a concert tomorrow in Vienna. Although I've seen both bands (Amaranthe and Beyond The Black) at least two times now, I always saw them as a pre-band or at the Wacken Open Air and never as a headliner at their own concerts.

But back to a little bit of yesterday and today. After I'd written my words yesterday evening, Christoph came along, and I handed him his birthday present. A large pipe like Gandalf has (it is even branded as The Shire) with a custom stand my father made to hang on the wall.

It was a joy to see him such surprised because I finally managed not to tell him beforehand what he would get. This time I was even eviler and bought a case for cigarillos we both now use regularly. Of course, he had to test the pipe and afterwards, we had a great cigar. I went to bed relatively late but still managed to get up only after an hour of hitting snooze. Not perfect, but small steps are the key.

Work was exhausting today, but I knew I would only work till 3 pm when I had an appointment with a former co-worker to hike on the nearby "mountain". I had a hot shower afterwards and some great chicken with potatoes and broccoli.

I'm pretty tired now, and I almost thought about skipping today's writing, but not today! I might have to skip tomorrow as I don't think I will be back from Vienna before midnight. But whatever, streaks can be broken to be started again.

As a closing thought, I added steps to my Life Dashboard, and you can clearly see last week's hike. Don't wonder why you don't see today's steps. They will be automatically added tomorrow at around 3 pm if I remember correctly. :)
