Rolling with the Punches

You need a budget uses the above sentence for managing the unmanageable. You can’t always plan out exactly every detail. That’s what happened to my week plan today.

I set it out nicely in the morning (having Wednesday off as a public holiday), but life or in my case work comes around and says no. So, I could be angry that I can’t follow my plan, or I roll with the punches and change up the plan. Maybe it works better than the original plan, perhaps it doesn’t. I’ll never know that, as I can’t execute both plans simultaneously.
