First nights

I’ve spent the last couple of nights in my new home. Besides an awful lot that still needs painting (probably this weekend), it’s coming together nicely. I’ve got a contractor lined up for the exchanging of power fuses and another that will take a deep dive on the heating control.
Although I’m basically living in a construction site now, I can already feel how good it is for my mind. I’ve been living in a “city” for almost 10 years now, and having a place where you don’t hear traffic or other city disturbances is quite a nice change. I’m even starting to sleep though the whole night instead of waking up regularly because a heavy vehicle drove by or some other kind of noise.
The only downside, I don’t have internet access there yet. But I should get fibre by Monday. As time progresses, everything falls into the right place. Once again.
For now, I’ll be using the coworking space nearby to work “normally”. I think by the end of the week we should have moved the remaining things from my apartment to the house too.
