Vacation Preparation
On Thursday my short vacation will start. Well, it is not that short, as I will be back in the companies office on the 2nd of November. As I have written previously, I want to do some stuff in the Apartment and I also got a few ideas I might want to implement as MVP (minimum viable product).
So I think it is finally time to write a list on stuff I want to do:
Apartment Cleanup: Probably one of the larger tasks, but it should be achievable in one or two days. I still got a bunch of boxes standing around and I should finally bring the stuff into the drawers. Afterwards, it is time to go through with the vacuum cleaner and get rid of some nasty dust. As soon as that is finished I want to paint the remaining walls in the corridor. Should be doable in about half a day, if the paint I’ve got is still useable.
Finishing two books: I really want to finish T.C. Boyle’s Terranauts and the Alcor book I’ve started ages ago. 243 pages left on the first book and 131 on the second. I should be able to finish both of them in two or three days if I stick to reading at the end of the day.
Implementing Product One: I don’t want to say too much yet, but I thought about trying out streaming one or two coding sessions. The one thing I can say, it has something to do with a streak and images.
Implementing Product Two: Again, nothing much to say yet, but it has to do with journaling, but in a different way.
Both products could be combined, later on, but I think it would be better to implement them separately.
I think I want to dedicate one whole day per product.
Counting the days, I’m at five to six days. If I subtract the two conference days (Saturday and Sunday) I have 8 days to spend. So if everything works well, I’ve got two reaming where I might visit my grandparents. We’ll see. I’ll keep you updated. :)
