BBQ
My vacation is coming to an end. So at the start of the week one of my neighbours asked if I would be interested in a barbeque. We had several in the past and I quickly agreed.
Since my neighbours are already retired, it wasn’t hard to find a time where we could come together. Said and done, we set the appointment for today.
After some severe problems to get the charcoal burning, Fred (one of the neighbours) and I got it working. By one o’clock in the afternoon, we were eating.
The sun was burning down again, but luckily there is a place on “our property” (the ground owned by the house where our Apartments are inside) that is pretty good covered by trees and bushed.
Obviously you can’t have a barbeque without a few bottles of beer and after eating we switched to wine. Frida (the wife of Fred) brought some ice cream with sour cherry and liquor.
At half-past six, we started to tidy up the place again. I spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the balcony and read a few pages.
After a short cold shower, I’m no sitting here to write the “famous” 200 words.
What an awesome day!
