Tomatoes
I was checking on the Tomatoes on my balcony today. Normally I am doing it once a week (on Sunday) to see if they need water.
As it was raining the last few days I figured they should have plenty available. Well, some of them did, some of them not.
A few walks later everything was filled up again. Then I started the task to get rid of some of the leaves.
My balcony almost looked like a botanic garden, since I allowed them to grow “relatively wild”.
Now, about an hour later, I am done. More and more blooms start to show and I even found a handful of green tomatoes. I think I will be able to eat some at the end of July. Well, I hope.
The coworker who gave me the seeds is already envious because his own don’t grow that well. Another coworker told me that he even gave me the “not so good once”.
I hope the thunderstorm that’s coming up won’t destroy them. So far it seems like it will be the worst since the start of the summer. According to the news it might even contain hail. I hope not, as my car is also standing outside without protection.
