Warrior Nun
A few days ago “Warrior Nun” showed up on my Netflix feed. I wasn’t looking at it, as I thought it didn’t fit what I’m normally watching. As I’m currently in episode nine, I can say I was really wrong. Once again the Netflix algorithm recommended something great.
Basically there is an order of nuns fighting against the evil. So the typical good versus bad.
Besides the ongoing fighting of nuns, an interesting story arc opens up and I can’t wait to see the last episode, while I’m typing these lines.
Since the story is really close to the church, I ask myself sometimes, if they are involved in such stories?
Many scenes show churches or play inside them. There is also a conclave going on.
I know there aren’t limits for imagination but considering the huge influence the Christian church has on the world, aren’t they trying to put a stop on such shows? Or did they finally open up to a broader worldview?
However, another viewing recommendation from me. And another series on the list where I am waiting for a second season.
Also, I should finally finish up Battlestar Galactica and Game of Thrones. But that’s a story for another post. :)
