No more Energy Drinks

Today I drank the last two Monster Ultra Paradise Energy drinks I bought a few weeks ago. They fit perfectly after the end of my Club Mate (a german based Ice Tea with Mate tea and carbon).

Almost the whole team of coworkers I work with drink some sort of energy drinks throughout the day. Our company is buying them cheap and so we can get a Monster Energy one at one euro.

Most of the time we drink one in the morning and one after lunch. I think I don’t have to say that bringing so much coffee and sugar into your body isn’t good.

That is the reason why I decided to stop drinking them from tomorrow on. Not only will it save me a bunch of money, but also I know my health will benefit from it.

I did some “no energy” months in the past and so I know I will be feeling a little bit down over the next few days. But the benefits totally outweigh the taste. I think I will occasionally drink one over the next few weeks, but not at the level before.

So back to “normal” coffee it is.
