TESLA

Last week a coworker asked me if I would be interested in test driving a Tesla Model 3. He was reserving an appointment anyway and said up to three people could test drive.

Since I am a huge Tesla fan and the drive doesn’t cost anything I agreed. After a quick what is what, we left the Tesla shop.

I have to say I was astounded. The car was flying along the road without any hassle and noise. The steering wheel is pretty big, but doesn’t vibrate in any way as it does in “normal car”.

Obviously, the acceleration is insane, even though I “only” had an all-wheel vehicle and not the performance one.

I always thought the “Telsa Grin” is overrated. Boy was I wrong. If it wasn’t that fast you probably would shit your pants. Luckily it is fast enough so your rear end closes up.

The regenerative braking is also a thing I wasn’t expecting that way. I knew most a large portion of the possible distance comes from regeneration, but I didn’t expect it to work that good.

As soon as you get your foot off the pedal, the car starts to slow down. You even have to carefully take your foot off, or the car behind you might crash into yours.

Definitely a different kind of driving experience.
