Reviving my Youtube Channel?

As I have written here before, I have got a channel over at youtube (https://www.youtube.com/user/haidy777com). It’s been over two years since I published the last video.

I checked the video manager today and saw I got another 75 videos ready for publishing. I think I even have some raw data on one of my external drives. With the whole moving and stuff last year, I totally forgot about that.

Since I started on youtube I produced videos for fun. I have to admit, there isn’t a week where I’m not missing this hobby. I even got a green painted wall in the new Apartment’s office, which is planned to be used as greenscreen.

Since my Oculus Quest should be arriving in a few days, I think it might be time to start producing content again. Maybe some crazy VR stuff, where I’m hitting some invisible things.

My Windows PC is just powerful enough to run VR games directly. With the Quest, I could offload the gaming part completely and use the PC only the record. But there is a pitfall, if I want to record myself talking, I would need to invest another few euros to get a good microphone.

Although I got a great Rode for recording directly, I can’t record myself standing in the middle of the room with it.

Another idea would be to just release reviews on VR. So I could record gameplay and cut it together with a voiceover.

We’ll see.
