My Birthday / Home Office / Office

No, today isn’t my birthday. But it is May, which means my birthday is this month. On the 24th of May to be accurate.

I had planned a “larger” barbeque party with some of my coworkers, but then COVID-19 came along.

It is crazy to think back the last few years and what happened in them. I was born in 1995, so I turn a quarter of a century.

If you look back a few decades, I would be close to dying in my thirties, if medicine didn’t advance this far. Mozart was 35 when he died back in the 18th century. Only a few years back my cousin died, aged 32.

But I don’t want to be sad today. So I am looking forward to tomorrow, as it will be the first day when I’m seeing some coworkers again.

But only 50% of the staff will be in the headquarter tomorrow. The other 50% stay another two weeks in home office. Then we will switch. 50% home office, 50% inside the headquarter.

It is interesting to see how the virus is affecting every part of life. And I can’t wait that this whole crisis is over, I already miss going to concerts.
