Like yesterday, nothing special happened today. I woke up at about 8 am. I got the newspaper and read a few pages.

I proceeded to clean the apartment and finally, it starts to look like somebody is living here.

I found some of my Arduinos and spare temperature sensors I used for my Terrarium. As my Office starts to come along, I thought it might be time to build some temperature sensing where my network stuff is.

As I’ve got quite some hardware there, it isn’t uncommon that the office room is the hottest, after the bathroom, even though the radiator is turned off.

Besides the router and the modem, I’ve got two NAS storages running, where some of my customer’s data is backed up to. One raspberry PI 4 is responsible for home automation.

When my gaming PC is running the whole setup is taking about 400 watts. No wonder my electricity bill is so high.

As the evening came, my best friend came to visit. We haven’t seen each other in a few months and it was time to smoke some cigars and drink a little bit of wine.

He just went on his journey home and so I’m sitting here writing my daily words.

Tomorrow morning I will be doing a small paramedic shift again. We’ll see what the day brings.
