I just finished working for today and thought I will write something short about the weather before I am going out on my balcony to get some vitamin D.

As the saying goes, April does what it wants (“Der April macht was er will”). In the last few days of March and now at the start of April this proverb seems really true.

A few days ago I wrote that it was snowing outside. The day after the snowing it was warm and sunny again.

Yesterday wasn’t different. In the morning it had about -5°C. When I finished working and got on my balcony at had about 15°C.

Today looks like it is the same. We started around 0°C if I remember correctly. Currently, my phone says it has about 15°C outside again.

What is going on? Cold, warm, cold, warm? I am thankful I didn’t catch a migraine yet from all those switching back and forth.

I should take a look at weather data from the past years to see if this has always been the case at the start of spring.

Or maybe the quarantine is driving me nuts? I am not exactly sure, but time will tell.
