In the middle of the night

It is 5:15 am, time for another few early words. Something is broken in my sleep schedule again.

I don’t have a problem going to sleep early or with waking up early. But something is messing with me. At least once a night I wake up.

Normally in the time window from 1:30 am to 2:30 am. I am fully awake a few minutes in this frame. Last night and the night before. I know I am fully awake because I can remember looking at the alarm and turning back over.

Also, my Fitbit is displaying that I am up at that time if I take a look at its sleep tracking function. The question is, why?

Somehow also the alarm clock is waking me earlier. When I first got it, the light had to be at full force to wake me up, now I feel like I open my eyes as soon as the lowest setting is on. Which is about at 4:35 am.

Not that I don’t like waking up early, but before 5 just doesn’t help me in any way. Maybe 9 to 5 is a little bit too long for my sleeping window? Since I don’t fall asleep right away at 9, I’m probably looking at 7 to 8 hours a night. That also matches with the hours my Fitbit is tracking.

I will be going to sleep at 10 today. Maybe the reduced amount will help me sleep through the night as whole?
