Robin Hood: Men in Tights

I was browsing through Netflix again. As you might have guessed, I was searching for something to watch. A few years back, a coworker told me about this movie.

Since he told me it is pretty funny, I thought I should give it a try. The fact that I am writing my 200 words while I am watching should give you an idea of how much I am enjoying it.

Somehow it isn’t as funny as I thought it will be. Also one of the characters has the same dubbing actor as Bill Murray in German. Normally I find it funny listening to the same voice with different actors, but this time I don’t find it suitable.

Also, I am not sure if the fun was lost while the movie was translated to German or if I don’t get the British sense of humour today. My coworker said especially the German translation is the fun part, but today I just don’t get it.

Maybe it is because I expected something Monty Python-like? With a movie like that, I expected to laugh at least once or twice every few minutes. For now, I didn’t laugh at all.

Maybe it will get better in the remaining hour.
