Monday Evening

On Monday evening, my best friend showed up. Well, not on his own, but we decided a Cigar was way overdue. So we agreed to meet after work. I also invited a coworker (also another really good friend).

It wasn’t planned on first hand, but I like those get-togethers from time to time.

My coworker was still at work, so he arrived a little bit later. Christoph (my best friend) and I had already started a Monte Cristo No 4.

At first, I planned to open a bottle of Merlot but I didn’t have a corkscrew. We had to switch to a Cabernet Sauvignon. A great red wine from a large Austrian wine producer.

As we poured in our first eighth, my coworker also showed up. I showed my terrarium project and home automation. We talked about a bunch of stuff: Electric cars, a little bit of politics and all in between.

I think I’ve talked about it before, this would be the second podcast idea I’ve got. Basically a get together of friends on an evening, talking about everything that would come to mind.

I pitched the idea to both of them in the past. Maybe it is time to start recording such a session just for the fun of it. We don’t have to release it right away. We’ll see.
