Picard

So, today started Star Trek Picard on Amazon Prime. I heard about it a long time ago and thought I would enjoy it.

I watched Star Trek The Next Generation back in the day, but never saw all episodes. Picard will be released every Friday for the next through weeks.

It is great to see Patrick Steward back in his parade role. But you really see that he is way older than when he is Captain Picard on TNG. If you ask me, I think he is really enjoying this role. Way more than any other he played over the years.

Why would you come back to a role more than a decade old, if you don’t enjoy playing it? At his age and reputation, he’s definitely not doing it for the money. At least that is what I am thinking.

I am currently about halfway through the episode and can’t await the next one. It will be another week until I can view the next episode.

I won’t go into the detail of the story, but a thought line that hit me from the beginning on is already confirmed. I can’t even describe how excited I’m feeling currently.
