Joker
Recently I saw the movie Joker. I had it on my watchlist for quite some time and I finally got the time to settle down and watch it. Also, a few co-workers recommended it.
So I sat down in front of my TV and turned it on.
At first, I wasn’t really sure if that movie would be in my kind of style. I am a huge fan of Batman and more importantly The Dark Knight trilogy. I really liked Heath Ledger as the Joker. I didn’t want the new Movie to alter this view.
Anyway, as the movie started out, I was sceptic. But the more I saw of the movie the more I enjoyed it.
Joaquin Phoenix played the Joker really well and I enjoyed how he made the personality of the Joker alive.
Sure, the Joker is the bad guy, but in this movie, it is shown how bad and sad circumstances can lead to a strange and crazy mind. It all started with an unsuccessful Clown that just wants to be funny.
Just like not all people are born Schizophrenic, not all people are born as “Monsters”. I think if the personality of Joker would have been treated right by a professional, there wouldn’t be a Joker. But who would watch that?
