Vienna Car Show

Today I was at the Vienna Car Show. It is basically a large venue with cars of almost all vehicle manufacturers.

A coworker mentioned the show this week and we decided that we could drive there this Sunday. Obviously we did that.

What I found interesting is that almost all manufacturers showed off hybrid cars. Either Plug-In Electro or natural gas once. I thought that gas-driven cars were abandoned long ago.

Also, I saw a few electrical concept cars from several manufacturers. Interestingly, they are all concepts and it seems like none of the producers wants to bring them into mass production.

A few also showed off full electric vehicles. Sadly Tesla wasn’t there but we’ve got to see at least one Model 3 at an electric booth.

One thing is for sure, the manufacturers don’t want you to buy electric vehicles. They want to sell-off gasoline-burning vehicles just like before.

I thought at least now they should start to work on more electric vehicles and trie to sell them to the consumer. I am looking forward to the day when the producers realize they forgot that oil will end and that they can’t sell gasoline-burning cars forever.
