Left out?

As I have written yesterday, I was at the airfield today. As like yesterday the day wasn’t full of people flying around. Only a few people showed up and did some rounds around the field.

Later, as we were sitting around a table inside the canteen, I heard that a private pilot licence course seemed to be started already or at least will be starting soon.

As I wanted to leave anyway, I took my stuff and drove off back home.

Now, I am sitting here with mixed feelings again. It seems lime there is already a WhatsApp group where the new ppl students exchange stuff. It also seems like there is already something going on or at least planned.

I feel left out. Since I just paid the membership fee for this year, I will wait a little bit. I’m interested to see if they reach out to me on this topic or if they really forgot about me.

If they did or do, I will tell them that this was the last time I was left out and will leave the club.

When I started being part of the club a few years back, they wanted me and a friend to start flying while we are still doing the radiotelephony certificate.

Then, they didn’t manage to create a plan for the flying lectures in that year. Then was a year of silence. Last year I didn’t have the time to get the theory under the hut with my other obligations.

This year I would have time and I told this the responsible persons more than once. Still, it seems like they forgot me. We will see how this progresses.
