The Professor - G.R.
Years ago, while I was at the technical college, I came across G.R. A teacher in his mid-forties if I had to guess.
In the first year, he taught us about networks and how they work together. All the ISO/OSI stuff, topologies, CSMA/CD.
In the last year, he was also teaching C# if I remember correctly.
In the third year, he gave me the nickname “Evil Haidenbauer”, whenever he was talking about how a network attacker could work.
He never intended to use it as a curse for me but as appreciation. While I was at that college, I was the best in most of the subjects that were taught.
All teachers liked my input, but G.R. was one of them who really knew how good I was. Maybe others also appreciated it, but at least he was the one that was showing it the most.
If he explained something, he knew I was knowing stuff about, he let me take help me explain the topic. Sometimes I really messed that up. Obviously, I didn’t know anything. But he always took back over and fixed my false information without any criticism.
He definitely got a place to remember inside my brain. Thank you!
