Windows 10 Rant Again

I am currently sitting in the office of the Customer I have written about yesterday. The paramedic night shift was pretty bad and I only could start at about 10 am to work on the computers.

It already started with a great problem. The first computer I tried to reset said, it couldn’t reset because of an unknown error. Great! How can that even happen?

I remembered that another guy working taking a look over the computers on another base of the company did something with it. When we ordered the last computer he took an image of the others and put it on the new one.

The problem wasn’t the image, but that the computer has completely different hardware than the other ones. I could remember that I had problems with it from the beginning on (missing drivers).

I took over the next one and started the reset. Windows is resetting for over an hour now.

Without an SSD it just takes forever. So now, I’m sitting here to finish the first one to figure out if the reset will work before resetting the other ones.

Sadly because of that, I had to postpone my interview with Sir Abe to a later day. Hopefully, we will find a date in the near future.

Meanwhile, I will be sitting here alone shouting at these computers and hoping I can get home before the day is over.
