Thinking about Political Exposure

I have written it a bunch of times on this platform and I always tell everybody that I am not talking about my political opinion in the public.

A few months back Austria had to vote for a new parliament as the last coalition of ÖVP and FPÖ was blown up by some large scandals.

In a few weeks, Styria has to vote for a new state parliament. I don’t think we will get a new Austria wide government before the elections in Styria are done.

Anyway, I am thinking about working politically myself. Since a few years, I am always voting, because if you vote you at least show up for something important.

I am thinking about getting a step further and touch on political things. It would be interesting to be major or at least in the city council.

The problem with political exposure is not that it exists, but that I could be bad for my paramedic career.

Obviously the red cross is impartial, but having a politically exposed person as paramedic driving around, helping people it could send mixed signals.

Sure, I am not anywhere near being political exposured, but it is something I’m considering and that lets me think about such stuff.
