Terrarium Update

Today I was at my parents home again. My father hat to work at one of his friend’s house, so I had the workshop for me alone. My mother was at home, but as I arrived she was still in her morning robe.

I didn’t wake up early today, as at least one day in the week needs to be slept in. :)

After I woke up I drove to a nearby DIY store to get some stuff for the terrarium.

I worked a good portion of the afternoon on it. I mounted the temperature sensors and floor tiles.

The whole thing gets pretty heavy pretty fast. I tried to lift one side and I know immediately that I won’t be moving this thing around alone anymore.

Also, I worked the first time with an angle grinder to cut the tiles. It is definitely not a bad idea as a project, because it is a good project to improve my DIY skills.

And the more you can do yourself, the less you need to pay a professional. :)

My hands are all black from the terrarium glue I used to mount the tiles today. Hopefully, I can get it off before Monday. :)
