Quitting PPL?
Today I wanted to quit. Not writing.
I was at the airfield again, working with the others of my “duty”. I woke up with the idea in mind to drop my ideas on making the private pilot license.
On one side because I knew I currently don’t have the money for it and on the other side because a few things went really bad while I was starting with said training.
I already did the radio licence and also the medical that is required for the training.
Some things went really bad afterwards and some other stuff didn’t go as expected, but that probably will be a topic for another post.
Anyway, as I working the whole day on the tower, transmitting via radio, I fell in love again.
Tomorrow I will be flying with an old-established pilot around the area. Obviously, I can’t fly myself, but with a trained pilot, I can at least fly a little bit illegally (You didn’t hear that from me).
So, my mind changed again and as I heard they want to modernise the training, so I can learn all theory at home and just need to show up for the flight training.
And that is really great because I don’t need to think about a way to get a bunch of weekends free of stuff, to sit in a training room. Because I can learn when I’ve got time.
