Re: Some things you needn't explain to anyone at all
Thank you @piglet for today’s post inspiration.
1. You don’t need to explain your clothing choice. Just like “You don’t owe an explanation for your physical appearance”, you can wear whatever feels the best for you. I recently switched to braces instead of belts. They aren’t stylish, but practical and I like that I don’t need to squeeze my belly so the belt fits.
2. You don’t need to explain your political position, nor tell it. I have said it before and I will say it again. Your political position is nobody’s business. My standard answer to the question which party I find good or like is “I don’t talk about my political opinion public”. “So you don’t have one?” “No, I have got one but it’s none of your business”.
I think in every democratic state, political elections are held in private, if I got to vote private, why should I blow out who I voted?
3. You don’t need to explain your religious believing. It doesn’t matter if you’re religious or not, it is just another private part of yourself that shouldn’t bother somebody. If yourself needs to be in the church every Sunday, then why not? No need to explain.
4. You can say now without giving a reason. If for any reason you say no to someone, it is polite to answer the Why, but you don’t need to if you don’t want to.
