Morning Routine Review (Day 1)
As I have written yesterday, I am currently trying a new morning routine. Well, the first day didn’t go as expected.
Since I know myself for 24 years now, I thought the first day might fail, luckily it didn’t.
Of course, I didn’t wake up at 5 am, it was 5:35 to be specific. I opened the windows and let some fresh air in, while I was waiting for my coffee.
Then I jumped into the shower and skipped breakfast. I never really was a “breakfast eater”, but it is something I need to get used to. If I start working at six the lunch break at 11 is relatively far away and I can feel my brains performance degrade by 9:30.
I was at work at 6:15, so in my time window of choise (between 6 and 6:30).
Brandon mentioned in a comment on yesterday’s post that waking up at five would mean going to sleep early.
Well, I have to conquer that. For my body, 6 hours of sleep are enough. I tested this several times over the years. I can also sleep for 10 or 12 hours, with breaks obviously, but one thing I noticed is, that when I am sleeping more than I would need, my head starts to hurt. Possibly because of dehydration.
Still, I am doing from time to time and I hate it, so another habit that needs to change. :)
