Old Projects

I was just going through an old hard drive where I store some of my video projects on. Interestingly, I found about 20 hours of recording footage that never made it to my YouTube channel.

There is an old RPG Recording and even a “lost” Minecraft Lets Play I recorded back in 2018. Well, that will make for some easy Content. I think I should also check the other hard drive in that same locker. Maybe I find some hidden gems there too.

Recently, I started backing up almost my whole YouTube Catalogue. It is quite crazy how much time I spent on video recording through more than 10 years now. But there is a downside too, it takes up a huge load of space.

So I started putting them in RAR Archives and split them into one gigabyte parts. Then they all go onto a cloud storage space (already taking up three terabytes). They also go on 25 gigabyte Blu-rays for now.

I don’t think I’ll ever need those Videos again, but having them stored in a safe place feels right. Also, those Blu-rays will probably outlive me. 🙈
