"Not" Mind Work

This post was originally published on golifelog.com.

We got up at 5 am this morning and arrived at my grandmothers house just past eight. The weather was cold, and it rained a little bit, but my mother insisted we collect the tree pruning from around the garden, and so we did.

After a few hours, the Peugeot Boxer of my dad was full of it, and we headed to shower one after another. At lunch, we were gathered in a restaurant nearby to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday with her side of the family. After some desserts and coffee, my dad and my mom jumped into the Boxer, my brother and me into my car, and we were off, heading home again.

Luckily, there wasn’t much traffic, so we got home without any interruptions, after all it is Saturday. I’m now back in my old children’s room and will be heading to bed shortly. Of course, it was exhausting, but it was a nice variety to my “normal” mind work.

Tomorrow morning I’ll be heading back to my Apartment.
