I caught it

It has been a while since I have written here. Nothing special about it, I just didn't find the time or muse to craft something. Well, that changed on Monday.

After more than two years of a global pandemic, COVID arrived in my body. I'm not sure where I picked it up but the test on Monday showed clearly that I've got it. I expected to get it at a concert I attended a few weeks back (as no masks and no controls about the vaccination state), but I didn't.

I think it must have happened on Monday or Tuesday (my birthday) last week, interestingly I wasn't "under people" on those days.

Luckily, besides some coughing and a "full nose", I don't show any symptoms. So I will be in home office for at least this week. I will try to get another test on Thursday, but only if the nose is freer (as an Allergic, I will never be entirely free) and the coughing stopped.

My father, mother and grandmother caught it too, probably one of us four brought it into the family around my birthday. Interestingly my brother is still negative, well to my luck he is, because otherwise, I would have had a hard time with nothing to eat at home. :) I really should build up a small storage of canned food.
