Heat

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

It is Friday again. Another work week over. I am sitting in my living room right now, watching some Blacklist and sweat in the heat of July.

It is probably about 27 degrees Celsius in my rooms. Only the bedroom is cooler, as the air conditioning is doing extra hours. I hope it doesn't break anytime soon, I can't sleep above 24 degrees.

And by I can't, I really can't, my brain just can't relax enough at that temperature.

As I have written before, at least I think, I am overweight and those extra pounds of skin produce heat as crazy. We have a metaphor here, which says "Sweating like a pig", as far as I know, pigs don't sweat, that's the reason while they're wallowing in the dirt.

So, I don't feel like a pig, but I am sweating as one. At these times of the years, I am changing my pyjamas at least twice a week.

It isn't that I don't like summer or heat, I am regularly at a sauna, but I hate when it is just continually hot. I would like to drive my motorcycle, but I know I would melt away inside the leather.

If it had 23 degrees Celcius the whole year, that would probably be the best temperature for me. What is your favourite temperature?
