Eigentum Verpflichtet

(Owning) a Home (or, in my case, an Apartment) brings some “side” effects and duties with it. For example, I just came back from the local building site (in the back of the building I’m living in) where a construction negotiation was held.

Since I own one ninth of the plot the Apartment building is built on, I was notified when the owner of the other plot wanted to restructure and rebuild the whole thing. I’m not forced to attend such negotiations, but it is an easy way to get an idea of what is happening around “my small plot of land”.

As expected, I didn’t learn new things in this negotiation (it was about HVAC stuff), it is still interesting to see the whole plan again and get an update on how far long the construction is and how long it will take until completion.
