Driving Lessons

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

Today I had my first Driving Lessons for my Motorcycle license. It was on the driving schools training Parcours. The next lessons will take me on the road.

On the one side, it's crazy how fast the time flies when you're having fun, on the other side it was pretty exhausting.

It's been a few years since I drove a scooter so I was familiar with changing gears and which button does what. But driving a small Slalom with only idle gas is pretty strenuously.

I know that I can drive, but the long abstinence of driving such vehicles didn't make it easier.

To the final exam, there will only be 12 more hours, but I think I will make it. Many did it before me and many will be after me. Hopefully, the weather stays as it was today. Not too hot, not too cold and most importantly, no rain.

I can't wait to finish the training and the exam so I can drive around myself. My dad drives since his 18th Birthday and I think some of his vigor rubbed off on me.

Also, my co-worker can't wait to get his motorcycle sold to me. Only a few more days. And hopefully, by the end of May, I'm all by myself.
