Altered Carbon Season Two

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

Yesterday Season two of Altered Carbon was released. I started watching immediately as I came home from work.

As I just watched the first season again, I skipped the recap that was displayed at first. I think the second season lacks two episodes, so they will be pushing the story probably faster than in the first one.

After I saw Michael Shanks (the Actor behind Daniel Jackson from Stargate) in the first episode, I think I will be enjoying the second one also.

I am at episode three now, and for now, I am not disappointed.

The only thing that bothers me is the main actor that plays Takeshi Kovac. It is the one that plays Falcon in the Avenger Movies if I'm correct. He suits the role and they built the story so that it makes sense.

I don't know why I can't get warm with him. Maybe it will get better in the next Episodes? However, I think I will order the books sometime in the future, just to read them and see how much the series differentiates from the books.

As far as I have heard the series is layed out for five seasons. Will see how they are going to write them, if they get the go from Netflix.
