After 200WaD

This Blog Post was originally published on the platform "writelier" (formerly "co-writers" and "200wordsaday"). Sadly the blogging platform was discontinued. I downloaded all my blog posts and prepared them to be republish them here.

Although I don't have time to think about many different things, my mind is rushing around options to keep writing and publish all my almost 600 posts somewhere else.

I've got a bunch of posts that are published "protected" on this platform here. I could openly publish them somewhere else, but they are protected for a reason.

Many others I could simply put on blog.phaidenbauer.com. Since I can export the posts here as markdown, it shouldn't be hard to transform them to suit the form of the static generator I've got running there (11ly). But what will happen to the protected posts?

At least I've got a few more days to think about that. :)

Also, I know I'm one of the lucky once. I've been in the web segment for years and so it isn't really hard for me to get a blog up and running somewhere.

Since I'm also doing hosting and stuff as a freelance business, if somebody wants some help or needs some space, you can always reach out to me (don't worry, I will provide my expertise for free for members of 200WaD/CoWriters/Writelier).

Also, maybe it would be an idea for @basilesamel to keep the domain alive with the patrons on this page? You could bill a small amount for keeping things running. Static only, obviously.
