A Long Saturday

I am just going to write down some words before I will go outside and smoke my end of work cigar and take a shower afterwards.

I did a paramedic shift today. Besides that, I hit my head pretty bad with the tailgate of the ambulance car I was driving nothing special happened.

Just two COVID-19 suspect cases and a bunch of driving (about 350 kilometres). The day started off easy at 7 o'clock. At 8:30 am we had our first drive and didn't return to our home base at 3:10 pm. We got finally to eat at 3:30 pm. And then had to drive on again until 7:30 pm.

We cleaned the car and I rushed to my parents to give them a quick happy easter out of my car.

And now I am back home, really exhausted and have finally time to finish the day. I picked a "simple" cigar out of my humidor and a bottle of beer. Both of them will be finished by 10:30 pm. I will take a quick shower and probably watch a movie with a good bottle of white wine and maybe some popcorn.

I definitely deserve it. :)
