WebDev, DevOp and Paramedic

Time

Today I thought about writing again something about my paramedic life. Since I’ve kept this the last two days, it worked out not that but, but the look outside of my window made me think about something other Time.

Actually, there is nothing special going on outside of my window, the sun is just slowly rising. A great view I could experience every day if I would manage to wake up at 5 a.m. daily.

But what made me think about time? I’m not exactly sure. I think time starts to just fly by crazy fast the day you leave school. Thinking back I left school about five years ago now.

I started working just a week after I left, did my paramedics training just months after. And now it’s four and a half years since I left my parent’s place. I’ve met awesome people in that time, but I think I also wasted much time on unnecessary things.

Work-life balance is one of the most important things today and I think I’m doing a really bad job getting both of them together. 40 hours at my day job and also 20 to 30 hours as paramedic don’t leave much free time.

At least I have the weekends back open for family and friends. The last years I also volunteered on Saturdays (as a paramedic). Good thing I changed the plan for this year.

Time is really valuable and I think we should spend more with our loved ones and with things that keep our happiness at a high level. Both are the only important things in our lives we should care about! Happiness and Family & Friends.
